The Sewayojan UP Portal, also known as Rojgar Sangam, is an online platform launched by the Uttar Pradesh government to address unemployment.

It connects job seekers with employers by offering access to government and private job opportunities based on education, skills, and qualifications.

Register on Sewayojan UP

• Go to the official Sewayojan UP website: https://sewayojan.up.nic.in/
• Select "Are You A Job Seeker" if you are looking for a job or click on Employer, if you are looking to provide a job on the homepage.

• Click on "New User? Signup" and start the registration process.

• Next, fill in the registration form and provide accurate personal and professional details, including your name, email ID, mobile number, and a strong password.

• Next verify your mobile number by entering the OTP received.
• Now you can log in to your account and complete your profile by adding your educational qualifications, skills, experience, and job preferences.
• Upload your updated resume and any other relevant documents required.

• Class 10th mark sheet
• Address proof (e.g., Aadhaar card)
• Mobile number
• Passport-sized photograph

Job Search

• Visit the Rojgar Sangam Sewa Yojan portal: sewayojan.up.nic.in.
• On the homepage, click the "Job" icon.
• Browse job categories: Government Jobs, Private Jobs, Outsourced Jobs, or Rojgar Mela.
• Use filters to narrow down your search based on location, job type, salary, and other preferences.

• Click on individual listings to view comprehensive details about the position.
• Click on "Apply Now" and submit your application directly through the portal.

Rojgar Mela

Rojgar Melas are job fairs organized by the Uttar Pradesh Employment Department to connect unemployed youth with employers. They are held at district and state levels.

• Frequency:
  • Mega Job Fairs every month at 18 divisional headquarters.
  • Weekly fairs (every Wednesday) in all districts.
• Target: 572 Rojgar Melas planned for 2025 across Uttar Pradesh.
• Vacancies:
  • Over 71,000 jobs targeted through Rojgar Melas in 2025, including private and government roles.
  • 1.32 lakh private sector jobs to be facilitated through 51 investment projects.
• Participation:
  • Thousands of candidates (aged 18–45) and multinational companies participate.
  • ITI-passed students targeted with specific Apprentice Melas every four months.

Registration and Application Process

• Register: Visit sewayojan.up.nic.in, select “Job Seeker,” and complete the signup with name, email, mobile, and Aadhaar details.
• Login: Use user ID and password to access the portal.
• Apply: Filter jobs by category (government, private, Rojgar Mela) and apply online.
• Documents for Mela:
  • Updated resume (2 copies).
  • Two passport-size photographs.
  • Original and photocopies of identity proof and educational certificates.
• Selection: Employers shortlist candidates based on profiles, followed by interviews at the Mela. Results are uploaded on the portal.

Eligibility

• Permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Qualifications: 8th, 10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, Graduation, or higher.
• Must not be currently employed.
